Hili Land Port earns Tk719 crore revenue

Hili Land Port in Hakimpur upazila of Dinajpur earned Tk719.33 crore revenue in the 2024-25 fiscal year.

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) fixed a target of earning Tk740.9 crore revenue.  The deficit in revenue collection from the Hili Land Port stood at Tk20.76 crore.

Hili Customs said the revenue target could not be met due to reduction of goods import.

Nizam Uddin, revenue officer at Hili Customs, said that if imports increase, it will be possible to meet the revenue target in the current fiscal year.
