This time’s fight to build country: Nahid 

National Citizen Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam has said, “Our fight this time is to build the country. After the mass uprising, we wanted a new Bangladesh, we wanted fundamental reforms of the state, we wanted justice for the perpetrators of the mass uprising. We wanted the July Declaration and the July Charter.” 

He was addressing a rally at Madrasa Mor Swadhinata Chattar in Natore on Monday (July 7) afternoon. 

Nahid Islam said, “I have brought the message of the July uprising. The message shows the dream of establishing a state based on justice and the dream of a Bangladesh without discrimination”.

He also said, “There is no good educational institution in Natore. There is no gas system. There is also discrimination in the health and communication sectors. We dream that such discrimination will be eliminated in all districts of Bangladesh.” Under the moderation of NCP’s northern region chief organizer Sarjis Alam, NCP's senior joint convener Samantha Sharmin, Natore's chief coordinator Professor Sajis Quader, Natore's senior coordinator Abdul Mannaf and central leader Atiq Adib spoke. 

Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain, Senior Joint Member Secretary Dr. Tasnim Zara, southern region chief organizer Hasnat Abdullah, chief coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari and central leaders were also present.
