If election delayed, country to go backward: Mirza Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that if the election is delayed, the country will fall behind further. Investment will not come; development will come to a halt.

Mirza Fakhrul said this while addressing a Mahfil and discussion program in Sylhet on Monday (July 7).

He said we want to make it clear to the government that if this situation continues, mobocracy will increase further, the justice system will collapse, women will lose their security. An elected government is needed to improve this situation.

BNP Standing Committee Member Mirza Abbas, Dr. A. Z. Zahid Hasan, BNP Chairperson's Adviser Khandaker Abdul Muktadir, Ariful Haque Chowdhury, Luna by Tahsina Rushdie and others attended the event.
