Political system needs to be changed: Nahid 

National Citizen Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam has said, “Not only the fall of Sheikh Hasina, but also the country’s political system needs to be changed. Not just the change of power, not the change of a party, but the corrupt must be changed.”

He also said, “Those who want to prolong their power by tearing banners and obstructing programs have no place on the soil of Bangladesh today. Those who have not learned their lesson even after seeing the fall of autocratic fascism, their fate will also be the same as fascism.” 

He said this while addressing a rally in the Bazar Station area of Sirajganj town on the seventh day of the July March to Build the Country on Monday (July 7) afternoon.

The party's northern chief organizer Sarjis Alam, member secretary Akhtar Hossain, senior joint member secretary Dr. Tasnim Zara, senior joint convener Samantha Sharmin, chief coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari, Sirajganj district chief coordinator Mahin Sarkar, and central and local leaders and activists were present.
