No election without reforms: Nahid 

National Citizen Party convener Nahid Islam has said, “No election will be held without reforms in the country. We have fought against Indian aggression along the way of Abrar Fahad. Again, if any political party, any political faction wants to join that hegemony, we will go against it. The people of Bangladesh want reforms.” 

The NCP leader said this while addressing a rally at Panchrasta intersection in Kushtia on Tuesday (July 8) afternoon. 

Nahid Islam said, “Abrar Fahad was a milestone in the fight against fascism. Abrar’s death turned the tide in the fight against Indian hegemony. The slogan ‘Delhi na Dhaka’ was raised in the protest march against Abrar’s death. That slogan was raised again in July against fascism.”

The central leaders of the NCP visited the grave of Shaheed Abrar Fahad in Raydanga village of Kumarkhali upazila. 

The NCC has started a nationwide 'Desh Garte July Padayatra (July March for building Bangladesh) demanding justice, reforms and a new constitution from July 1 and it will continue till July 30.
