Khulna food inspector rescued after 5 hours of abduction

Khulna food inspector Sushanta Kumar Majumder was rescued, after around five hours of his abduction, said police.
A joint force team of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) and District DB police rescued him 12:30 am on Monday (July 14) from a road of Azgara village under Terokhada upazila.
KMP Deputy Commissioner of Police (CTSB) Abul Bashar Mohammad Atiqur Rahman confirmed the matter. However, police could not arrest anyone in this regard.
Earlier on Sunday evening, some people who introduced them as law enforcement picked up Sushanta at about 7PM. Later, a video of the kidnapping moment went viral.
