BNP, the new guardian of Mujibism: Nahid 

National Citizen Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam has said, “BNP is trying to protect the constitution of Mujibism 72. Now they have emerged as the new guardian of Mujibism by engaging in extortion and terrorism. BNP has now transformed into a party of extortionists, a party of terrorism.” 

He said, “We do not want disunity, we do not want division. Our unity is not possible with those who will stand against the people and against the July mass uprising.” 

He said this at a rally at Shaheed Hridoy Turua Square in Patuakhali Municipality at around 1:45 pm on Monday (July 14) after the ‘July March to Build the Nation’.

He said, “We clearly said that not only Hasina’s downfall, but also the system and corruption must be brought down. The fascist system must be abolished and a new political settlement must be established. We are now engaged in the fight to establish a new settlement.”

NCP central leaders Hasnat Abdullah, Sarjis Alam, Tasnim Zara, Shamanta Sharmin, Khan Talat Mahmud Rafi, Mujahid Shaheen and others spoke at the rally.
