‘Tough action if anyone takes law in their own hands’

Home Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury called upon all not to take law in their own hands, saying, otherwise ‘tough action’ will be taken against them.
The adviser said this while addressing reporters after a discussion at Cox’s Bazar on Monday noon (July 14).
He said, “Not only the carriers, but also the godfathers of the drug trafficking must be captured to protect the next generation, family, society and the state from ruining.”
“All drug traffickers must be exposed to justice,” he added.
Disaster Management and Relief Adviser Faruk E Azam, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Abdul Hafiz, Cox’s Bazar DC Mohammad Salahuddin and Police Super Saifudding Shahin, among others, were present.
