Police officer’s wife found dead in Gazipur

District Correspondent, GAZIPUR, Jan 7:  Police recovered the dead body of a police officer’s wife in Ratkhola area of Sadar upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Sufia Islam (32), wife of Aminul Islam, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Gazipur industrial police.

Police said Sufia might have committed suicide by hanging herself over a family feud.

The dead body was sent to hospital for autopsy.
