NCP Madaripur rally postponed 

A protest rally was held in Madaripur to protest the attack on National Citizen Party (NCP) leaders and activists in Gopalganj. 

On Wednesday (July 16) afternoon, local leaders and activists of the NCP and the Students Against Discrimination protested in the Lakepar area of the town. 

Meanwhile, as per the previously announced program, the central leaders of the NCP were supposed to hold a rally in Madaripur at 3 pm on Wednesday. 

The program in Madaripur was postponed due to the deterioration of the situation in Gopalganj. 

The leaders at the protest rally said that the barbaric attack on NCP leaders and activists in Gopalganj is unacceptable in any way. 

They demanded the immediate arrest of those involved in the attack and exemplary punishment. 

They urged the government to complete the trial of the culprits quickly.
