We will return home after making Gopalganj free from Mujibism: Nahid

As part of the ‘July March for Building the Nation’, the National Citizen Party (NCP) organized a rally in Faridpur on Thursday (July 17), marking the first anniversary of the July Uprising. 

In the program, NCP convener Nahid Islam expressed his firm determination to free Gopalganj from the influence of Awami League and Mujibism.

He also strongly demanded of the interim government to ensure speedy justice. 

Nahid Islam said, “Gopalganj has been made a haven for Awami League and Mujibism. Our pre-announced program was attacked there. We declare that we will stand by the common people of Gopalganj and free this region from the clutches of Mujibism.” 

NCP’s southern chief coordinator Hasnat Abdullah, northern chief coordinator Sarjis Alam, senior joint convener Samantha Sharmin, joint convener Dr. Tasnim Zara, joint member secretary Mir Ershadul Haque, joint convener Amit Roy, Faridpur coordinator Neelima Dola and other central and local leaders were present.
