We are not leaving the streets: Nahid

National Citizen Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam has said, “From July 2024, we are no longer afraid of life. We have taken to the streets with the promise that we will continue to fight until a new country is established. We are not leaving the streets.” 

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the ‘July March to Build the country’ program in front of the Shaheed Smriti Chattar in Rajbari on Thursday (July 17) afternoon. 

Criticizing the Awami League, he said, “Awami League is not a political party, it is a terrorist organization. But, more importantly, it has a fascist ideology. We have to defeat this ideology. The Mujibist ideology is the foundation of the Awami League”.

“Our goal is to build a new Bangladesh. I call for that fight”, he added.
