Gopalganj violence: Death toll rises to five

Another injured in the clash in Gopalganj has died while undergoing treatment, raising the death toll from the incident to five.
The deceased was identified as Ramzan Munshi, 32, a rickshaw puller. He was shot around 2:30 pm on Wednesday while driving his autorickshaw in Launchghat area of Gopalganj. Later, he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) camp In-charge (Inspector) Md Faruk and Muksudpur police station OC Shital Chandra Pal confirmed the matter.
Earlier on Wednesday night (July 16), four people were killed in clashes, following the attacks on a rally of the National Citizens' Party (NCP).
