Woman held with Yaba pills worth Tk3cr in Chattogram

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a drug smuggler with over 1 lakh contraband yaba tablets worth Tk3 crore from Chattogram.
The detainee is known as Manawara Begum, 43.
A press notification issued by the elite force confirmed the matter on Friday noon (July 18).
RAB-7 said that acting on a tip-off, the law enforcers conducted a drive in Raypur area under Anwara upazila on Thursday night (July 17). Meanwhile, sensing the presence of law enforcer, the drug smugglers tried to flee the scene. At one stage, RAB managed to detain the woman with 1 lakh pieces of Yaba pills.
