Fight to build new Bangladesh is not over: Nahid 

Convener of the National Citizen Party (NCP) Md Nahid Islam has said that the fight to build a new Bangladesh is not over yet.

The NCP leader made the comment at their march program on Habiganj town on Thursday (July 24). 

Nahid Islam said, “Many were killed in the fight against Mujibism and fascism in different parts of the country, including Habiganj. Around 20 people lost their lives in Habiganj district alone. But, we have not yet got our desired Bangladesh.” 

He alleged, "The politics of corruption has started again. There is an attempt to rehabilitate fascism. This politics must be stopped.”

Mentioning the issue of corruption in the health sector, the NCP convener said, “We want a Bangladesh where there will be no syndicate in healthcare. Corrupts will be brought under the law.” 

Nahid Islam said, “The NCP is not a conventional political party. It is a fighting force that emerged from the mass uprising. We will continue to fight all-out to protect the dignity of Bangladesh.”
