Abducted Ctg trader Mridul Chy rescued in Comilla

District Correspondent, COMILLA, Feb 17: Mridul Chowdhury, the gold trader who was abducted six days ago form Chittagong, was rescued Monday morning in Comilla.
Being informed by a night guard, police rescued in an unconscious state from Kongsonagar area of Burhichong Upazila in the morning.
Mridul was picked up by a group of people identifying themselves as Rapid Action Battalion members from the port city of Chittagong on February 11.
Mridul went missing after the gold businessman had filed a lawsuit with Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate`s Court against RAB official Rakibul and two others accusing them to have robbed about 80 tolas of gold.
Family claimed that armed people identifying themselves as law enforcers picked up Mridul from his Telegraph road residence in the port city on February 11.
However, the family received no calls demanding any ransom in the past week.
