Missing couple`s dead bodies found after 3 days

District Correspondent, RANGAMATI, Mar 22: The dead bodies of a tourist couple who were the victim of boat capsize in Kaptai lake in Rangamati district, have been recovered on Saturday morning.

 

Members of navy recovered the dead bodies at 7.30 am, this morning from the lake area.

 

The acting OC of Kotwali police station Monu Sohail Imtiaj said to the risingbd.com that the bodies would hand over to the relatives after their autopsy.

 

The Members of army, navy and fire service had been continuing the rescue operation for three days after missing.

 

Sources said, after capsize of the boat Alauddin Patwari and his wife Ayrin Sultana Lima had been remaining missing.

 

It was learnt, on Wednesday the couple came in Rangamati and made a boating trip on the Kaptai Lake. Their engine boat however, capsized in the stormy weather and they have been remaining missing.
