Jamaat leader ANM Shamsul Islam

Police arrested ANM Shamsul Islam, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer of Chittagong city unit.
The Jamaat leader was held from party office at Dewanji Lane on Monday afternoon.
Shamsul was holding a secret meeting with other Islami leaders and activist, AKM Mohiuddin Selim, Officer in Charge (OC) of Kotali Thana Police said.
20 other leaders and activists of Jamaat also were detained with him.
Shamsul, also a former lawmaker, has various cases against him, the OC added.
