Bhomra land port strike called off

Satkhira Correspondent: An indefinite strike called by Bhomra land port labour unions has been withdrawn on Saturday evening.

The decision came when assistant director of the port Partha Ghosh assured to meet the demands of the labours.

Earlier, four labour unions of the port went on an indefinite work abstention demanding fair wages that hampered the export-import activities between Bangladesh and India through the port.
