2 killed as train engine derails in Narsingdi

Narsingdi Correspondent: Two persons were killed and 15 others were injured as the engine of Titas Commuter Train derailed at Arshinagar in Narsingdi on Friday night.

 

One of the deceased was identified as Babul Mia, son of Alfaz Uddin of Hairmara village under Raipur upazila.

 

However, another deceased along with the injured could not be identified immediately. The injured were admitted to separate hospitals in Narsingdi.

 

Witnesses and Police said Brahmanbaria-bound Titas commuter train reached Narsingdi around 8:40 pm on Friday night. It derailed at Arshinagar after it started for Brahmanbaria, leaving two passengers killed and 15 others injured.
