Suspected dacoit killed in mass beating

Narsingdi Correspondent: A suspected dacoit has been killed in a mass beating in the district.

The incident took place at Balu Chor village under Madhabdi Thana on Wednesday midnight.

Officer-in-Charge of Madhabdi Thana Abul Kalam said a gang of 14-15 dacoits entered a house of Algi village and looted valuables. Hearing the shouting of family members, villagers chased them and caught one of them.

Later, villagers gave a good beating to him, leaving his dead on the spot.
