Huge amount of ammunition recovered in Kushtia

Kushtia Correspondent: Police recovered huge amount of ammunition and three grenades from Ektarpur village of Janipur union under Khoksa Upazila of the district on Monday noon.

Sources said that petal workers found the ammunition during working in their field on Monday noon. Later, on information, the law enforcers rushed to the spot recovered the ammo.

Confirming the matter, Khoksa police station Officer-in-Charge Nazmul Huda said that a total of 240 rounds seven point bullets, 26 rifle bullets, three grenade and two cocktails were recovered from the spot.

Khoksa Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Selina Banu visited the spot.
