Child killed in Ctg gas cylinder explosion

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: A one-year old baby girl was killed in a gas cylinder explosion at Bandartila area of the city's Patenga on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Oishee, daughter of Raju who was also burnt in the incident.
Jahirul Islam, In-Charge of Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) police outpost, confirmed the news.
He said Raju and his daughter were burnt as the gas cylinder blasted while cooking meals at their own house.
Later, they were rushed to CMCH Burn Unit where Oishee succumbed on Saturday late night, he added.
