Kader Khan's PS confesses to his link to MP Liton murder

Gaibandha Correspondent: Jatiya Party (JP) lawmaker and Gaibandha-1 MP Liton murder's key mastermind Abdul Kader Khan's personal assistant (PS) Shamsuzzoha Sarker confessed to his link to the murder.

The court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Moinul Hasan Yusuf recorded his statement on Sunday afternoon.

Confirming the matter to risingbd.com around 4:15pm, Gaibandha Additional Superintendent of Police Rabiul Islam said Shamsuzzoha confessed to his direct and indirect link to the MP Liton murder under section 164.

Police held former Jatiya Party (JP) lawmaker and Gaibandha-1 MP Liton murder's key mastermind Abdul Kader Khan's personal assistant (PS) Shamsuzzoha Sarker from Naldanga area of the district's Sadullahpur upazila early Sunday.

After interrogation, Shamsuzzoha was produced before a court in Gaibandha for recording his confessional statement.

Gaibandha-1 Constituency lawmaker Manzurul Islam Liton was shot at his own residence of the district's Sundarganj Upazila on December 31, 2016. Later, he succumbed at Rangpur Medical College and Hospital on the day.
