MP Hannan, son released on parole

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: Jatiya Party (JP) lawmaker of Mymensingh-7 Abdul Hannan along with his son has been released on bail for attending his wife's Namaz-e-Janaza.
Hannan, 80, and his son Rafique Sajjad, 62, were freed on parole from Kashimpur Central Jail-2 on Wednesday evening.
Md Abul Hossain, deputy jailer of Kashimpur Central Jail-2, confirmed the news.
Earlier, International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) passed an order to release Hannan and his son on parole for attending the Janaza.
MP Hannan and his son Rafique were arrested in case filed for crimes against humanity during the Liberation War in 1971.
