Youth slaughtered in Gazipur

Staff Corresondent, Gazipur: A youth was slaughtered to death at Peara Bagan area of Konabari under Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) on Friday noon.
The deceased was identified as Al-Amin, 22, hailed from Bakshiganj of Jamalpur. He used to drive rickshaw in the area.
Md Anwar Hossain, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Konabari police putpost under Joydevpur Police Station, confirmed the news.
He said unknown miscreants left Al-Amin's body in the remote Peara Bagan area after slitting his throat at noon. Being informed, police recovered the body.
The body was sent to Gazipur Shahid Tajuddin Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy, he added.
