Block raid at Rangunia 6-storey building

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Police have carried out a block raid at a six-storey building named VIP Tower near Rangunia municipality in Chittagong as part of anti-militant drives across the country.

The block raid was carried out at around 6:00pm on Wednesday which lasted for half an hour.

Confirming the matter to risingbd.com, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rangunia Police Station Imtiaz Bhuiyan said the block raid was carried out as part of anti-militant drives across the country.

Nothing was found after the raid, the OC said.
