Injured AL activist dies in Jhenidah

Jhenidah Correspondent: An Awami League (AL) activist who was injured in a clash between two groups at Chandpur village of the district's Shailkupa upazila has died.
Hafizur Rahman, 45, son of Kayes Rahman of the village, breathed his last at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) around 9:00am on Thursday.
Toriqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shoilkupa Police Station, confirmed the news.
He said Hafizur along with five others was injured in a clash between two groups ensued from an altercation of children during taking bath in a local pond.
