Section 144 imposed in Langdu 

Bandarban Correspondent: Lcoal administration imposed section 144 at Langdu to avoid possible clashes between Bengalis and hill people over recovery of the body of Juba League leader on Friday.

Earlier in the morning, both groups made chase and counter chase each other over the incident.

Local sources said miscreants set fire on 8 to 10 houses at Langdu upazila sadar and Jharnatila in the morning centering the incident. Later, local administration imposed section 144 around 12:00pm to avoid any unwanted incident.

Meanwhile, reports were found that both groups locked into clashes at Tintila parha, Manikkachhorha, Baittaparha, Kathaltola parha and Bottola.
Mohammd Safiul Sarwar, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Rangamati, confirmed about imposing of section 144.

"The order would continue until the further notice is issued," he added.
