15 hurt in Gopalganj clash

Gopalganj Correspondent: At least 15 people including three women were hurt in a clash between two groups over a facebook comment in the district.

The clash took place on Sunday noon at Horidaspur Parchimpara village under Gopalganj Sadar upazila.
 

Officer-in-Charge of Gopalganj Sadar Thana Selim Reza said Chhatra League leader Mikail made a facebook comment on Sheikh Rigan. As a result, Rigan and his supporters beat Mikail and the matter was settled  at the police station at night.

Over the feud, supporters of Rigan attacked the house of Mikail on Sunday morning and supporters of Rigan also locked into the clash, leaving 15 injured.

Seriously injured four people including three women have been admitted to Gopalganj General Hospital.
