Clinker-laden cargo vessel sinks in Pashur river

Bagerhat Correspondent: A cargo ship named ‘MV Seba’ loaded with cement making raw materials sank at Harbaria area in Mongla upazila on Sunday night.
Sources at Mongla Port said the cargo ship sank in the Passur River of Harbaria area while it was carrying 825 tonnes of clinker (cement manufacturing raw materials).
The concerned authority was directed to rescue the sunken cargo, the source said.
Mongla Port is not facing any trouble in the movement of ships due to the sinking of the cargo, the source added.
Md Waliullah, the harbour master of the Mongla port, confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
