Cop killed in Faridpur road crash

Faridpur Correspondent: A policeman was killed and injured three others in a road accident at Bhanga upazila of the district early Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Motaleb Chakladar, a constable of Bhanga police station.

Bhanga circle Additional police super Gazi Rabiul Islam said that a pickup rammed four policemen on Dhaka-Barisal highway on Monday midnight, leaving them injured.

Later, the injured were sent Faridpur Medical College Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.

Bhanga police station Officer-in-Charge Syed Abdullah said that a case was filed in this regard.
