Three get life-term in Sirajganj murder case

Sirajganj Correspondent: A Sirajganj court has sentenced three people to life-term imprisonment in a murder case.

Judge Begum Sheikh Marina Sultana of Additional District and Sessions Judge Court passed the order on Thursday afternoon.

The court also fined Tk 10,000 each, in default they have to suffer six more months in jail.

The convicts are Rohiz Uddin, 31, son of Abdur Rouf of Gopalpur village of Enayetpur Police Station, Hafizul Islam, 33, son of Abu Pramanik of Ajuparha village, and Mahbub Hossain, 32, son of Abdul Quader of Porarchar area under Ulipur Police Station of Kurigram.

According to the case statement, Nurul Islam Nuru, wood mechanic, was found dead in mustard field on January 7, 2008.
