Landslide: 3 more bodies found in Rangamati

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Three more bodies including a missing army official were found in Ranagmati, raising the death toll to 156.

The bodies found are identified as army official Aziz of Manikchhorhi camp, Rupon Dutta of Vedavedi area and Sultana of Poshchim Masjidparha. The bodies were recovered from the respective areas.

Prokash Kanti Chowdhury, additional superintendent of police (ASP) in Rangamati, confirmed the news.

Landslides triggered by torrential rain in Chittagong, Rangamati, Bandarban, Khagrachhari and Cox’s Bazar districts caused to death of 156 people including several officers and members of the army.
