BGB man drowned in Teesta buried in Habiganj

Habiganj Correspondent: BGB lance nayek Sumon Mia who drowned in Teesta river was buried at his ancestral Poil Atghoria village under sadar upazila of Habiganj on Friday morning.
Earlier, people of all walks of life took part in hins namaz-e-janaza held at the ground of the village.
A delegation of Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) reached his ancestral home with the body on Thursday night.
Sumon, son of late Abdul Hekim of the village, went missing in Teesta river on June 26 while they were conducting drives to catch cattle smugglers at Abulerchar area of Dahgram.
Later Border Security Force (BSF) of India found him dead in the river.
