Rajbari Correspondent: At least three people were killed and 30 others injured in a road accident in Mokbuler intersection area of Goalanda Upazila of the district on Sunday.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Sources said that a passenger bus from Khulna and a covert van from Dhaka collided on Daulatdia-Khulna highway around 2:00pm, leaving three people dead on the spot and injured 30 others.
Later, the injured people were sent Goalanda upazila hospital.
Confirming the matter, Goalanda police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mirza Abul Kalam Azad said that the bus driver and helper fled the scene after the accident.
