Bogra rape accused Tufan’s brother expelled

Staff Correspondent: Bogra town unit joint general secretary Matin Sarker has been expelled following the alleged rape against his younger brother Tufan Sarker.

Ruling Awami League’s (AL) youth wing Juba League came up with the move on Tuesday.

Juba League office secretary Kazi Anisur Rahman confirmed the news to risingbd.

Tufan Sarker, also the Bogra town unit convener of Sramik League, another affiliate organisation of the ruling party, allegedly raped a female student on 17 July, alluring her with assurances of ensuring her admission to a college.
