Eid Jamaat held peacefully at Sholakia

Kishoreganj Correspondent: Eid Jamaat was held at Sholakia Eidgah in Kishoreganj, the largest congregation of Eid prayer in Bangladesh, amid tight security.

It was 190th Eid congregation of Sholakia. The Eid prayer was held at 9:00am. Moulana Farid Uddin Masoud conducted the Eid Jamaat.

A prayer has been offered for protecting Muslims from mass killing led by the government and sought unity and peace among the Muslims across the world.

Kishoreganj Deputy Commissioner (DC) Azimuddin Biswas and Superintendent of Police (SP) Anwar Hossain Khan, administrative officials and political leaders attended the Eid prayer.

Local administration took four-tier security measures to hold the Eid Jamaat peacefully at Sholakia.  A huge number of RAB, Police, Ansar and three platoons of BGB were deployed to ensure security around the congregation. Devotees were allowed to enter the ground after searching by metal directors.
