Two killed in Pabna road crash

Pabna Correspondent: Two people were killed and five others injured as a passenger bus hit a nosimon (three-wheeler) in Majidpur area on Pabna-Ishwardi road in Sadar upazila around 11:30am on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as nosimon driver Rokon Ali, 45, son of late Monser Ali of Atrai village at Khetopara union in Sathia upazila of the district and Samrat, 30. Further details of Samrat could not be known.

Abdur Razzak, officer-in-charge (OC) of Pabna Sadar Police Station, said a Pabna-bound passenger bus hit a nosimon in Majidpur area on Pabna-Ishwardi road in Sadar upazila around 11:30am, leaving the nosimon driver Rokon dead on the spot. Five others were injured in the accident.

The injured were rushed to Pabna General Hospital where duty doctor declared one Samrat dead.
