Staff Correspondent: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) today seized two kilograms of heroin from Railbazar Kheyaghat area under Godagari Upazila of the district on Friday.
BGB-1 commander Shamim Masud Al Iftekhayer said that on a tip-off, a patrol team of the paramilitary force conducted a raid at the area this morning and seized two kilograms of heroin, the contraband item.
"The worth of the heroin is about Tk 40 lakh. The seized heroin will be destroyed publicly soon," he added.
