Truck kills businessman in Ctg

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: A businessman was killed as a truck ran over him at Majhirghat area of the city's Sadarghat on Wednesday noon.

The deceased was identified as Pinon Roy, 35.

Sub-Inspector (SI) Alauddin of Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) police outpost confirmed the news.

He said, two persons were seriously injured as a truck ran over them. They were rushed to CMCH where Pinon was declared dead.

The injured Alauddin, 32, was undergoing treatment at the hospital. The truck was seized, he added.
