They take oath to leave drug smuggling

Staff Correspondent, Rangpur: Some 130 drug smugglers took oath to return their normal lives, rejecting the way of drugs in Rangpur.

The drug peddlers took this oath at a rally arranged for surrendering drug peddlers and preventing child marriage and militancy.

The rally was organised by Ward no. 8 community policing of Rangpur Metropolitan at Sonar Chand Government Primary School premises of the district's Kaunia upazila on Thursday.

Of the drug peddlers, 30 were given a van each to rehabilitate them. The vans were financed by Neel Sagor Group.
