Case filed over torturing guardian in Cox's Bazar

Cox's Bazar Correspondent: A case has been filed against six people over torturing a guardian in Cox's Bazar.
The victim guardian Ayat Ullah filed the case against head teacher Jahirul Haque and five unknown people with Cox's Bazar sadar police station on Monday night.
Ranjit Kumar Barua, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Cox's Bazar sadar police station, confirmed the news.
He said, "Head teacher of the school has been made the main accused in the case while five other unknown people were also sued. Legal steps will be taken soon as per laws."
A group of schoolteachers allegedly tortured a guardian of one of their pupils for protesting against irregularities at the school.
The incident occurred at Kharulia High School in Kharulia area of Cox’s Bazar on Sunday. A video of the assault has become viral on social media.
