Fugitive convict arrested in Gopalganj

Gopalganj Correspondent: Police arrested a fugitive lifer from Barfa Bazar area of Gopalganj Sadar Upazila early Tuesday.
The arrestee is identified as Nazrul Islam, 35, son of Ratan Sheikh.
Inspector (In-charge) Hazrat Ali of Gopinathpur police investigation center said that acting on a tip-off, police conducted drive in the area and arrested the fugitive. Nazrul Islam was wanted in a case filed with Darussalam police station in Dhaka.
A Dhaka court sentenced him life term imprisonment in the case in 2017.
