College girl died when her scarf tangled up in Gopalganj

Gopalganj Correspondent: A collage girl died from suffocation as her scarf got tangled up with one of the wheels of an easybike in Orakandi area under Kashiyani upazila of the district on Wednesday noon.

The deceased was identified as Shawrna Khanam, 18, a first year student of honours level of Kashiyani Raidia College.

Victim's family sources said that Shawrna was returning home from her college riding an easybike this noon. At one stage, her scarf got tangled up with one of the wheels of an easybike, leaving her dead on the spot.

Kashiyani police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) AKM Alinur said investigation is underway in this regard.
