Youth murdered over drug feud in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent: A youth has been murdered following a feud over establishing dominance in the local drug trade in Pabna town.

The incident took place around 1.00am on Tuesday at Chhatiani in the town.

The deceased was identified as Faisal Hossain, 35, son of Fakhrul Islam at Chhatiani Purbapara in Pabna town.

Another youth named Roni, son of Roisuddin, was also injured in the incident.

According to police and locals, there was a feud between Faisal and Roni over establishing dominance in the local drug trade. On Monday night, their trade partners stabbed Faisal and Roni in separate places.

Roni was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital. But Faisal was not found at night, later his dead body was recovered on Tuesday morning.
