Bus-CNG auto-rickshaw collision kills 3 in Noakhali

Noakhali Correspondent: At least three people were killed and two others injured in a road crash as a bus rammed a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw on Lokkhipur-Rampur road in Sonaimuri upazila of the district on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Mizanur Rahman, 37, Belal Hossain, 45 and CNG driver Rakib Hossain, 35.

Sources said that Dhaka-bound a passenger bus collided with a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw around 11:00am, leaving two passengers of auto-rickshaw dead on the spot and injured three others.

Later, another one died on the way of hospital.

Sonaimuri police station Officer-in-Charge Nasim Uddin confirmed the matter.
