Factory catches fire in Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A fire that broke out from a sack making factory at Boro Bari area of Tongi in Gazipur on Tuesday morning.
On information, eight fire fighting units rushed to the spot and trying to douse the fire.
Station officer of Joydebpur fire service Mohammed Zakir Hossain said the fire originated from fibers of sack making factory named Geo Textile around 5:00am.
"Later, eight fire service units from Joydebpur, Tongi and Uttara fire stations rushed to the spot," he added.
