Bus-covered van collision kills 2 in Thakurgaon

Thakurgaon Correspondent: At least two people were killed and 14 others injured as a passenger bus and covered van collided on Thakurgaon-Dinajpur highway in 29mail Haripukur area on Friday morning.

The deceased were identified as covered van driver Sazzad, 50 and passenger Masiur, 35.

Witnesses said that Panchagarh-bound a passenger bus collided with a covered van in the area this morning, leaving the two dead on the spot and injured 14 others.

Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital Dr Jinnat Parvin said that three of the injured were sent to Rangpur Medical College Hospital due to their critical condition. 

Confirming the matter Thakurgaon Sadar police station OC Abdul Latif Mia said the bodies were kept at Sadar Hospital morgue.
