Principal found dead in Sylhet hotel

Staff Correspondent, Sylhet: Police found a teacher dead at Hotel Anurag of the city’s Dhopadighirpar area on Saturday noon.
The deceased was known as Hakim Ferdous Wahid Budhu, 33, principal of Habibia Tibbia College of the capital and general secretary of Unani Samity.
Police recovered the body from room no. 229 of the hotel around 12:00pm.
Hakim Ferdous came to Sylhet for taking qualifying examinations of Sylhet Government Tibbia College, said police quoting the college authority.
Mosharraf Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotwali Model Police Station, said, “Hakim Ferdous came here to take interview of the admission seekers. He was staying in the hotel. Later, he was found dead there after people concerned could not reach him on mobile phone. Being informed, police recovered the body.”
He might have died of stroke, police primarily guessed.
